Management Fee

The percentage of rental revenue charged by a property management company for their services.

A management fee is the compensation a property management company charges for operating a short-term rental on behalf of the owner. It is typically calculated as a percentage of gross rental revenue, ranging from 15% to 30% depending on the market, services included, and property type. Some companies charge flat monthly fees instead. The management fee covers all operational services — pricing, guest communication, cleaning coordination, maintenance oversight, and reporting.
